As you wind down from your school year and head into the summer before middle school begins, you can gather with some of your peers and relax, make art, and explore some thoughts and feelings about this next step.  All sorts of materials will be available and there is no pressure to make a masterpiece-just to allow yourself to enjoy the process together!

This is a facilitated group experience for rising 6th graders. We will gather, be offered a prompt to create - draw, fold, paint, (big cache of good supplies).

After a set amount of time, we'll put pencils/brushes down and engage in a dialogue and what came up for us.

The result is an experience of connecting with ourselves beyond the daily fray and begin to process some of the noise that can often distract from our own voices.
